Like an Old RefrainThe sun rises and she wakes,  Though part of her begins to sleep.  She casually removes her gown of night,  And dresses in the plain clothes of day.   
She is quiet as no noise escapes her lips -  
Until she begins to sing.  Gradually, her voice crescendos and the tempo rises,  While her blood speeds through her veins like cars on an endless highway.   
She slows as the warmth of the sun touches her skin,  Her voice dimming to a soft hum...   
The moon rises now and she wakes,  Though part of her begins to sleep.  She dons her gown of night,  Tossing aside her sim Like an Old Refrain
